Excelent Center will organize the II Long Distance Triathlon – Catalonia in Banyoles the 26th September 2004, starting at 8.30 hours with the distance of 4 km swimming, followed by the 120 km cycling and 30 km running. This is the only long distance triathlon to be organized in the peninsula.

Banyoles and its county is just 100 km from Barcelona (one hour by car), 40 km from the French border and 30 minutes from the beach. –A gorgeous landscape will be the ideal frame for the 300 sports people that are forecasted, considering as well the participation of well renowned specialists. All of them will fight in order to get the exceptional prices of 600 Euros (1^st price), 300 Euros (2^nd price), 200 Euros (3^rd price) and 100 euros (4^th price), both for masculine and feminine categories.

Another interesting fact to be taken into account is the Expo that will be set up the day before with medical check-ups, physiotherapy, lectures given by important triathlon specialists, or the possibility to check the circuit together with world championships like Melcior Mauri (cycling) or Martin Fiz (athletics)
