WHY TRAINING ROWING
IN BANYOLES?
Banyoles,
thanks to its lake and the fact of having hosted the rowing
competition there during the Barcelona Olympic Games, it
enjoys an important tradition of aquatic sports like rowing.
Banyoles has become the meeting point for world rowing and a
training centre for many crews from around the world,
especially because of the magnificent installations of the Club
Natació Banyoles swimming club, the beauty
of the lake and its surroundings, a gentle climate, easy
access and the presence of Agenda Gestió Esportiva with its
assistance services. |

The
Lake
of
Banyoles
could
be the ideal training area for you; it is considered
worldwide as one of the best regatta areas.
The total area of the lake is 2.120m x 98m and the average
depth is 15m.
The regatta course, has 6 lanes + 2 exterior lanes, with
buoys to mark every 500m |

At
Banyoles, we give you the choice of training in different
conditions, depending on season and the objective of your
training:
- Olympic regatta
course. 2.100 m. 2 exterior lanes with buoys every 500m.
- 5 hangars,
covered.

vessels.
