place we were all looking for
Under
the Alberg de l’Estany (hostel) and included in the centre BTT/FCC
of Pla de l’Estany-Banyoles.
The
Bike Station of Banyoles is a logistic base for the independent and
organised activity of cycling, whether it is road bike, mountain
bike, cycle-tourism or triathlon, with a group of services thought
for bikers like showers, changing rooms, area for washing bikes,
workshop and lockers to keep the bikes.
With
a privileged location, right next to the
lake
of
Banyoles
, the
bike station is the starting point for some of the routes of the
centre BTT Pla de l’Estany-Banyoles. The bike station is of great
use for both the initial learning and for the practice of high level
in the different specialities of cycling, thanks to the varied
excursions and routes of all levels parting from the same
installation.
Also,
the bike station is as well useful for teaching and learning
activities about cycling, like mechanics, technique, preparation of
journeys, etc. for a big variety of people, like cycling clubs,
commerce and the industry of material and equipment surrounding the
bicycle world.
